Why Life Expectancy Is Not a Prediction
Life expectancy is often misunderstood because it sounds personal. It is not. It is a population average.

Life expectancy is often misunderstood because it sounds personal. It is not. It is a population average.
Two people with the same age and sex can have very different health histories, family backgrounds, jobs, communities, and risks. A single table value cannot see those differences.
The average is still useful, but only if you hold it lightly.
The calculator does not know whether you smoke, exercise, have chronic conditions, take medications, have good medical access, or have strong social support.
Those factors may matter in real life, but they are not part of this simple public-table lookup.
Use the result as a planning prompt: What should I protect? What should I finish? What should I stop postponing? What assumptions am I making about retirement or family time?
That is a healthier use than treating the number as fate.
No. It can only show an average for a population group in a public table.
